Staying Current, Staying Connected
Registration

The conference brings professionals in nursing, social work, counseling and long-term care administration, law and the businesses, organizations and agencies who work with our aging population together. As the Baby Boomers begin to hit retirement, knowledge about this special population becomes critical. The conference provides continuing education credits and networking opportunities that will allow Brazos Valley professionals to improve their understanding of, and service to the elderly and their families.

The third annual Brazos Valley Professionals in Aging: Staying Current, Staying Connected was March 13-15, 2007. Active Aging and Spirituality were the focus of the conference. There is no registration fee for the conference and the fee for CEUs is minimal. The 2007 conference was sponsored by the Lena Mae Farris Foundation, Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health Aging and Health Program, and the Brazos Valley Area Agency on Aging Ombudsman Program.
