Volunteer Your Time
It’s easy to become a volunteer. Simply call our office or download the volunteer application. Let us know what talents and time you would like to offer. You can offer as little as 3 hours a year or as much as 3 hours a week – you are in charge. We can take your information over the phone. We ask for references and we do a background check to protect our care recipients. Once that is completed, we will tell you of a person in your area that needs your help.
Examples of Volunteer Assistance:
Transportation
Shopping with or for a person
Respite care (giving a family member time away)
Occasional meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Minor home repairs
Bills/record keeping/letter writing
Yard work/gardening
Caring companionship
Telephone buddy
Reading to a care recipient
